The FG knot is strong and very small which allows it to pass more easily thru guides of a spinning rod.

The Albright Knot is quick to tie and is a fairly small knot that helps it go thru rod guides more easily.

The Double Uni Knot is an easy knot to learn that has good strength for tying a mainline to a leader. It does well with tying braided line to fluorocarbon or nylon leader and can be tied very quickly with very little wasted line.
