valley. Soon after, Tony and David a bull coming in to check things out. It was awesome to see a bull, but this one particular 4x4 elk was too young but pretty to look at. When Tony and Davide start to move further down the hill, they came across another bull. This 5x6 was too busy tearing up a tree to even notice them. They studied the bull for a while to make sure that it was a shooter but Tony decided to pass as his heart was set on a 6x6. “I tell you what, it was a really good day today. We had a lot of encounters this morning. The weather was absolutely perfect. couldn’t ask for anything better! We probably ended up doing a 20-mile hike this morning.” said Tony as he recapped the first-morning hunt.
