The Johnny Morris CarbonLite 2.0 Spinning Rod and Reel combos come in several sizes so anglers can really match a rod and reel to the exact fishing situation they’ll be using them for. The reels are well balanced for a wide range of line sizes and the rods are offered in a mix of actions and lengths to suit your needs. Personally, I like to spool up whichever size reel I’m using with Sunline SX1 in either 10 or 20 pound test and then I’ll tie a leader from there based on the baits I’m fishing. The 6 foot 9 and 7 foot models in medium and medium heavy are my first two choices for most applications from skipping docks, fishing small swimbaits to shaky heads.
