display. This allows the archer to shoot out to longer distances, provided they still have arrow vane clearance under the sight. Most archers will get an extra 10-15 yards on the sight’s max shooting range in this mode. When done, the archer simply puts the sight back into the base position via the on-screen prompts.

Wade’s Thoughts on the XERO A1i Pro

“Technology has so vastly changed the world that we live in and hunting is no different. I look at what the Garmin Xero has done to be able to range your animals or your targets out there and with better accuracy than ever before. Garmin’s new sight (Xero A1i Pro) has defined how to set the sight up to make it even better. This bow sight is the most intuitive of the Garmin Xero sights, as far as I’m concerned, because the setup process is totally different than the previous model. You’ve got more mechanical options to be able to dial in pinpoint accuracy, you can tell it how fast your bow is shooting so you can help set and speed up some of the processes, and the entire screen is all built-in with everything in needed to set it up. So technologically, I’m shooting a phenomenal bow sight this year. BUT you always have to remember in bow hunting, and really in anything, you can have the best technology in the world, but the human still has to control his emotions, he still has to perform when it is time to take that shot and harvest an animal.”
