LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

I love this time of year because of the cooler temps and the fact that this time of year means that I’ve been chasing Whitetail Deer, Axis, even some hogs here in there, and more. This season has been especially excit- ing as our team has been able to try out a few products, hosting some great friends at deer camp, hunting with Performance Center Sweepstakes winner, and now we’re prepping for our annual Youth Hunt after Christmas. While we’re wrapping up 2019, I tend to look back at all the adventures I’ve had throughout the year – and there were some great ones. From epic fishing trips, a growing Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, turkey hunts, traveling to Africa and taking in that spectacular back- drop and even more amazing game animals, our annual Kentucky archery hunt, back to Kansas for the first time in years, and plenty of other experiences….this year was another great one for myself and the Americana Outdoors team. We are so fortunate and thankful every day that we get to do this and can share it with you. Hopefully by now, you’ve finished your holiday shopping (and if not, go to our Instagram page and check out the Holiday Gift Guide!). Though we’re winding down on the hunting aspect of things, that just means that the excite- ment of getting out on the water more often is just around to corner.
