• At the 2025 ACA Championship, we surveyed 400 of the top collegiate anglers. • 70% of the field reported having at least one Garmin unit on their boat. • This is similar to the 2024 field, but this is up significantly from 38% in 2023. • 87% of the field believes that forward facing sonar will just become more prevalent in the future. • The Garmin Force trolling motor is showing up more often on collegiate angler boats! • The Garmin discount program is the most popular discount program that the ACA manages: • 408 discount codes have been distributed in 2025. This is on-track as we distributed 400 codes in 2024. • The ACA has received approximately 438 requests this year to-date – some of these are not eligible or have already received a code within a 12-month period. The ACA vets every requests individually and to the best of our ability to prevent abuse.
