Association of Collegiate Anglers In May 2024, the Association of Collegiate Anglers concluded its 19 th season of the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. The National Championship event on Pickwick Lake marked the end of this historic season and there are plenty of highlights from 2023-2024:

• Collegiate anglers continue to show up in bigger numbers than ever – each ACA tournament well-surpassed 400 anglers, with the Big Bass Bash having nearly 600 anglers compete! • Bass Pro Shops School of the Year Race was again epic with the University of Montevallo Bass Fishing Team earning this title for the fourth year in a row! • Many of our partners have been supporting collegiate bass fishing with us since our first event in 2006 – this is a testament to our strong partnerships and program as we begin celebrating our 20 th Season in 2024-2025! • Our partners allow the ACA to provide more discount programs | contingencies to collegiate anglers than any other collegiate fishing series. • There are still no-entry fees into our ACA tournaments, thus truly promoting the growth of collegiate bass fishing.

Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash | September 2024 The ACA’s first major tournament of the 2024-2025 season took place in September with the Bass Pro Shops Big Bass Bash presented by Berkley – nearly 600 collegiate anglers descended upon Kentucky Lake, Paris, TN to compete in this event! AFTCO Collegiate Bass Fishing Open | October 2024 The ACA’s second major tournament of the 2024-2025 season took place in October with the AFTCO Collegiate Bass Open – approximately 525 collegiate anglers descended upon Lake Dardanelle, Russellville, AR to compete in this event! The Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia Race has become the most sought-after accolade amongst collegiate bass fishing teams and clubs nationally. Throughout the year, collegiate anglers compete in ACA, MLF, BASS, and school-run collegiate bass fishing tournaments to earn valuable points in hopes of fishing well and consistently and bringing home the School of the Year Trophy! The ACA just published a recap of the Top 25 Collegiate Bass Fishing teams in the nation.

Celebrating 20 Years Throughout the 2024-2025 season, the ACA is excited to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. This is a major milestone for the organization, student anglers, and series partners. Over the next 12 months, the ACA will be introducing new programs, promotions and features across digital media, as well as look backs at some of the great moments that have occurred over the years. To the anglers, host sites, companies, and everyone that has helped to contribute to the growth of college fishing the past 20 years, the ACA would like to say, “thank you,” and we look forward to celebrating this accomplishment in the coming months…because without every one of you, this milestone wouldn’t have been possible and many of today’s anglers who now work in the industry, fish competitively or fish recreationally would never have had the chance to do so.
