The 2018 Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship presented by Cabela’s is quickly approaching again, and it’s still as exciting to the team at CarecoTV as our first one 13 years ago. Online registration has opened and once again, we will host the top collegiate anglers from all over the nation. We’ll be creating both television and digital content, as well as live coverage during the 2018 event, so please let us know how we can incorporate your brands message. We would like to extend this invitation to you and your representatives to join us on-site in Florence, Alabama – this will be another outstanding event both on-site as well as within the television series and supporting digital coverage. Official practice kicks off on Sunday, May 19 th . The first organized gathering happens on Tuesday night, May 22 nd , at the Yamaha Angler Appreciation night which is held lakeside and features boat demo rides, electronics demos, casting contests, and of course a large pizza party. Wednesday, May 23 rd , is the “Big Day”, with registration and a banquet dinner for all the participants, as well as opportunities to have a booth style display and dedicated one-on-one time with the anglers. If you can only join us one day, Wednesday is certainly the day to interact with the anglers. Numerous companies have booths on-site all week long such as Cabela’s, Ranger Boats, Yamaha, Garmin, Berkley, Abu Garcia, BUFF USA, Bob’s Machine, Big Bite Baits, Sunline, Power-Pole, Costa, and others. Regardless of your ability to join us at the event, we sincerely thank each of you for supporting collegiate bass fishing through your sponsorship of the Cabela’s Collegiate Bass Fishing Series. Tuesday, May 22 rn Yamaha Angler Appreciation Night – Yamaha will once again host Angler Appreciation Night featuring boat rides in Yamaha powered Ranger Boats, interaction with touring pros, Abu Garcia casting events, pizza party, and more. The Yamaha powered demo rides and activities start at McFarland Park at 4:00pm and wrap up at 6:30pm. Sponsors are welcome to participate in this lakeside event. Booths or activities will need to be set up and ready no later than 4:00pm. In the event you cannot attend, but would like to offer a promotion or activity for anglers, please contact Wade Middleton to discuss opportunities and ways that CarecoTV can facilitate your participation. Staff will be on hand to provide assistance starting at 2:00pm on Tuesday, as needed. Wednesday, May 23 rd College Angler Banquet and Check-In – All anglers will be coming through the Shoals Marriott for check-in between the hours of 3:00-5:00pm, followed by a dinner on-site. This is the best opportunity for sponsors to interact with anglers and we encourage you to be set up and ready no later than 2:00pm. Staff will be on hand to provide assistance starting at noon on Wednesday. You will find the physical address and more details to the Shoals Marriott on the following pages. If you will be shipping products, displays, or anything else to the Championship, please contact CarecoTV to coordinate. Thursday, May 24 th College BBQ Night – Immediately following the weigh-in on the first day of competition, anglers will be treated to a BBQ dinner on-site at McFarland Park. Sponsors are welcome to participate in this lakeside event as well. Booths or activities will need to be set up and ready no later than 2:00pm. In the event you cannot attend, but would like to offer a promotion or activity for students, please contact Wade Middleton to discuss opportunities and ways that CarecoTV can facilitate your participation. Staff will be on hand to provide assistance starting at noon on Thursday.

Angler Check-in 3:00pm to 5:00pm on Wednesday, May 23 rd – Anglers visit the registration table in the Conference Center to check-in and continue on visiting with all the Sponsors at their booth space. Competitors must stay for the mandatory rules meeting and tournament briefing. Excited sponsors will have displays setup and be on-hand to visit with anglers, conduct contests, and distribute products and prizes. Many pro anglers will be on-site for the social and seminars as well.
